The Role

The Data Analyst for the Talent team will work closely with our internal Executive and Technical Talent teams and also partner cross-functionally. This is an opportunity to work alongside a team geared towards excellence through their goals and impact, which is measured by way of data. The ideal candidate is a data nerd and finds joy in reporting and running data checks on their own work. You are incredibly organized, even with shifting priorities, and an exceptional communicator to all. Creativity plus taking initiative is necessary in this role and at the firm, as our systems must remain one step ahead of the needs of our team.

On a day-to-day basis, this role requires assisting the Talent team with basic reporting asks and system checks, as well as supporting the Head of Data, Systems & Analytics with more complex reporting and analysis. In addition, this role would back up their manager with regards to onboarding new Talent partners, answering questions, and managing change requests within our system of record. You are experienced and efficient working in a fast-paced environment, handle sensitive information with excellent judgment, and leave no rock unturned.

Operate with exceptional attention to detail and phenomenal communication. Anticipate potential changes or shifts in priorities amidst simultaneous demands.
Provide overall data management to the team. Solicit needed data from multiple sources and organize and compile to facilitate high level presentations.
Provide innovative and creative methods for continued improvements to our system and the way we report, onboard, and present data as we scale.
Handle highly confidential information and documents with discretion and confidentiality.
Collaborate and get results in a complex organization during times of change and growth. Demonstrate an adaptive and flexible work style across varied types of leadership and team members who are geographically dispersed.
Learn from your cross-functional colleagues and mindshare as new developments take place.
Teach others, comfortability in 1:1 and a group setting, as training new Partners and retraining the entire team occurs frequently.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience supporting a team (or teams) in reporting and cleaning data.
Technically savvy, advanced proficiency in Excel required, experience in Salesforce and/or Looker is ideal.
A strong team player, who thrives in a collaborative setting and works well within a matrixed environment, poised and able to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Proactive, positive, excellent communication skills and an upbeat, “can do” attitude – able to make things happen.
Experience presenting
Resilient, with ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality work to deadlines.
Discretion and diplomacy; high degree of integrity when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
Strong prioritization skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency with Gmail, Gcal, Excel, Powerpoint, as well as other applications such as Word, Slack and Zoom. Experience in Salesforce and/or Looker is not required but ideal, please note additional technical skills on your resume/CV.
You are comfortable working in a remote environment and working independently.
